Take a step back in time, and see where Healdsburg’s Westside Road meets the “West County’s” Redwoods. Our tasting room is situated in a simple but historic structure, built with hand cut redwood beams. The tasting room is adjacent to the original Porter Family’s farmhouse, dating back to the 1930’s, and is nestled in the foot of the Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Viognier vineyards.
You will be greeted by one of our engaging staff members who are known for extensive knowledge of our wines and farming practices, as well as some entertaining storytelling and local lore. Most of our tasting room staff has been here for over a decade, and always looks forward to seeing our long-time customers as well as first time visitors.
Expect to be welcomed with a smile and a taste of our Chardonnay to get things started. And then you will be treated to many of our wines, usually including the flagship Fiona Hill Pinot Noir, as well as Viognier, Carignane, Syrah and Zinfandel. Depending upon availability, we may have some of our other Pinots Noirs open, which are all estate grown, as well as Rosé seasonally.
We welcome visitor’s 10:30am-4:30pm daily. (Usually we accept our last visitors at 4:15 as a tasting typically takes 20- 30 minutes.) Due to the limited space (but unlimited charm) in the tasting room, groups over 6 can only be accepted by appointment. Please check our Facebook page and/or voicemail for special holiday and event hours.
Our tasting fee is $20 per person, refundable with purchase. Groups over 6 are by appointment only.Click here to contact us and/or get directions.
